A Fansly marketing agency is asked for by two kinds of creator: the one who moved to Fansly in 2021 or started there and wants it grown, and the one on OnlyFans who wants a second page without doubling the work. The plan below serves both, and the difference between them is which page is called the main one.
How Fansly changes the plan.
On OnlyFans, promotion is entirely off the platform because nobody is found on it; the OnlyFans promotion service is built on that fact. Fansly has discovery inside the platform: fans can browse and search, tags matter, and the free follow tier lets a fan sample a page without paying. That adds a channel that costs no posting on other platforms and changes what the profile has to do, because on Fansly the profile is also a search result. It does not remove the off platform work. Fansly's audience is a fraction of OnlyFans', so the same Reddit and X promotion sends fewer subscribers per post, and the plan leans on the free tier to convert the ones who arrive. Three facts, three changes: the profile is written for discovery, the free tier is the funnel, and the off platform channels are measured against a smaller pool.
Inside the platform: discovery and tiers.
| Element | What we do | Why on Fansly |
|---|---|---|
| Profile text and tags | Written with the words fans search and browse by; reviewed against what the platform's discovery surfaces | The profile is a search result here |
| Free tier | Set up as the funnel: enough on it to make following worthwhile, paid tiers and messages doing the selling | A follow without payment is a step OnlyFans does not have |
| Paid tiers | Two or three levels priced from the menu and the content, not from other pages | Tiers exist natively; the price guide's reasoning applies |
| Posting cadence | Scheduled from the same content bank as the OnlyFans page, on a delay or a subset | The feed's job is retention, on either platform |
| Discovery features | Used as the platform offers them at the time: the For You Page, account suggestions, search, profile tags and hashtags, per its help center | The channel OnlyFans lacks |
Outside the platform: the tracked channels.
The off platform channels are the ones the promotion guide describes, run the same way and measured the same way: Reddit communities for the niche, X daily, TikTok and Instagram as a safe for work funnel through a link page, shoutouts bought post by post. Two differences. The link page carries the Fansly page and, where the creator runs both, the OnlyFans page, and the tracking tells which one each channel's fans prefer. And the free tier is the landing point for cold traffic, because a stranger from TikTok will follow for nothing and be sold to in messages, where a paid subscription would lose them. Tracking uses Fansly's tracking links, which its help center says credit later purchases to the link and include built in links for the For You Page, suggestions and search, and the link page's analytics, so that the weekly report attributes each subscriber and each paid message to a source.
Fansly as the second page.
For most creators the honest plan has OnlyFans as the main page and Fansly second, because the audience and the payout record are there, as the comparison lays out. The second page earns its keep three ways: fans who left OnlyFans in 2021 and stayed on Fansly; fans found through Fansly's discovery who would never have arrived from Reddit; and insurance against either platform's policy changes, which the company history shows are not hypothetical. The cost is a second inbox, which the chatting service can cover from the same voice document, and a second set of records, which are the same records. Creators starting on Fansly first, because they have no audience anywhere and want discovery to help, run the same plan with the names swapped and add OnlyFans when the promotion accounts are producing.
What a week looks like.
- 1
Content pull
The same shared folder as the OnlyFans page. Sets are sorted by job and platform; Fansly receives its share on the agreed delay or subset.
- 2
Profile and tag review
Monthly, against what the platform's discovery is surfacing for the niche. The profile is a search result and is edited like one.
- 3
Scheduling and off platform posting
Feed posts scheduled; Reddit and X posted daily with tracked links to the link page; short video where the persona allows it.
- 4
Free tier and messages
Followers on the free tier receive the welcome message and the first offer; paid drops go to lists. A person types, as on every page.
- 5
Friday report
Followers and subscribers by source, paid messages by source, both pages side by side where the creator runs both, and the decision for next week.
What we need from you.
- A content bank shared with the OnlyFans page, or its own if Fansly is the only page.
- Approval of the tier structure and the profile text before anything goes live.
- Fansly's tracking links, created in your own account, and the link page under your control. Promotion needs no login to your page.
- An hour every two weeks to read the report, with both pages on one sheet.
Fansly facts, from Fansly.
This page states about Fansly only what can be read from Fansly's own pages, read September 30, 2026. The platform's fee: 20 percent, with 80 percent to the creator, per its creator page. Its operator and jurisdiction: Select Media LLC, a Maryland limited liability company, per its terms. Its payout terms: US dollars, a 7 day pending period, and minimums of 20 to 100 dollars by method, per its help center. The Fansly safety guide gives the same facts with their sources. The shape of the plan follows from them: discovery inside, tracked channels outside, the free tier as the funnel, and a second page that earns its keep or is closed.
Marketing, management or doing it yourself.
Most pages that call themselves a Fansly agency sell full management: the agency takes over the account, the content schedule, the chat and the promotion, and is usually paid a share of everything the page earns. A marketing agency does a narrower job. It handles the promotion and the growth strategy, offers chat support if you want it, and leaves the account, the content and the decisions with you. Neither model is wrong. They suit different creators, and the contract should make clear which one you are buying.
| Question | Fansly marketing (this service) | Full management agency | Doing it yourself |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who holds the login | You. Promotion needs no access to your page | Depends on the contract; ask before signing | You |
| Who creates the content | You, with a content strategy from the plan | You, usually; check the contract | You |
| Who handles chat | You, or the chatting service from your voice document | The agency's chatters | You |
| Profile optimization and tags | Written for discovery, approved by you | Done by the agency | You, from Fansly's help center |
| How it is paid | As listed on the pricing page | Usually a share of all earnings | Your time |
| What you see | A weekly report by source | Whatever the contract promises | Your own tracking links and records |
If you want someone to run the whole page end to end, a management service is the honest answer, and the audit will say so. If you want your Fansly page to grow while you keep the full picture of your business, a marketing service is the narrower tool. The agency reviews compare named agencies on these same questions. Whichever model you choose, ask who on the team will handle your page day to day, and how that team protects your privacy and the personal details on your ID and payout account.
The services, and what each one handles.
Fansly marketing is three services under one plan. Promotion strategies cover the channels outside the platform; discovery strategies cover the profile, the tags and the free tier inside it; engagement strategies cover the messages that turn a follower into a paying subscriber. Each is reported separately, so you can see which one is earning its place and which one the team should change or drop at the next review.
Many agencies in this niche describe their offer by what they handle: everything. That is a fair offer for creators who want to hand over the business. It is a poor fit for creators who don't want to lose sight of their own page, and for models who already know their brand and only need support with promotion and fan engagement. A plain list of what is in the service and what is not makes the difference clear before anything is signed.
- In: promotion strategies for Reddit, X, TikTok and Instagram, each channel on its own tracked link.
- In: profile, tag and free tier optimization for Fansly's discovery, reviewed monthly.
- In, if you want it: chat support and fan engagement through the chatting service, from your voice document.
- In: the weekly report, and a decision each week on which strategies stay.
- Out: your login, the creation of your content, paid advertising, and anything posted or priced without your approval.
Choosing a Fansly agency: what to check.
Agency pages in this niche tend to read alike: top results, a team that handles everything, chat support at all hours, more income for less time. None of that can be checked from a landing page. What can be checked is the contract and the way the agency answers six questions, and those decide your experience after signing far more than the promises on the homepage.
- The login stays with you. Fansly gives creators tracking links in their own account, so promotion does not need your password. An agency that cannot start without it is asking for control, not access.
- Earnings claims come with data. Any figure on an agency's page should come with how it was measured. A model's screenshot of a good month is not results; tracked subscribers by source over several months is.
- Chat coverage is named in hours and people. "24/7" means nothing until you know who types at night, from which script, and how a conversation is handed over between shifts.
- Your privacy is part of the plan. Ask whether the strategy needs your face, your name or your location, and what the agency does with your personal details and ID. A faceless page needs a different promotion plan, not a worse one.
- The term and the exit are written down. How many months you are bound for, what notice you give, and what happens to the social accounts, the content bank and the fan notes when you leave.
- The share is calculated on something you can check. Fansly's fee is 20 percent, so ask whether an agency's percentage is taken from what the fan paid or from what reached your account.
Income, earnings and what can be promised.
Nobody can tell you in advance what a Fansly page will earn, and this page does not try. What can be said is how the money moves. A fan pays for a subscription tier, a paid post or a message; Fansly keeps 20 percent and the creator earns 80 percent, per its creator page; earnings are held for a 7 day pending period and paid out in US dollars once they pass the minimum for the payout method, per its help center. Any agency fee comes out of what is left, which is why the report shows revenue by source rather than gross figures, and why the earnings guide explains why an average is not a forecast.
A creator can earn on Fansly from tiers, paid posts and messages, and a management or marketing team can only affect how many fans reach each of them. What the marketing can change is the start of that chain: how many fans find the page, how many of them follow on the free tier, how many move to a paid tier, and how many buy in messages. Each of those is measured separately, so success or failure is visible step by step rather than as one income number at the end of the month. The growth strategy service sets those steps out as rows with a date to read each one.
